Bruce Brody Feinberg, MD

Bruce Feinberg, MD came to Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) division from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. His clinical interests include the full spectrum of maternal and fetal care, ranging from maternal disorders in pregnancy to the management and coordination of care for pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies. He has particular experience with operative vaginal birth, fetal ultrasound, as well as external cephalic version for breech presentations. Dr. Feinberg’s research interests primarily focus on the regulation of the complement system in pregnancy disorders. The Complement Research Unit has recently successfully completed a proof of concept therapy using complement cascade blockade to mitigate the systemic inflammation and clinical manifestations of preeclampsia.
