Led by world-renowned experts in minimally invasive specialty surgery, the Division of Gynecologic Specialty Surgery offers comprehensive gynecologic surgical care for women of all ages. Working with other departments and divisions of obstetrics and gynecology to achieve the best outcomes, our surgeons employ the latest technologies to treat various female reproductive tract disorders and strive to take the least invasive approach to surgery whenever possible, regularly using laparoscopic and robotic techniques to minimize patients’ recovery times.
Patient Care
The Division of Gynecologic Surgery offers patients comprehensive gynecologic surgical care, including a wide range of consultation and treatment options, from routine testing to the most advanced diagnosis and treatment for women of all ages.
Our gynecologic surgery specialists have expertise in urogynecology, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, pediatric and adolescent gynecology and lesbian and transgender health. We provide surgical care for adults, children, and adolescents; strive to take the least invasive approach to surgery whenever possible; and regularly use laparoscopic and robotic techniques to minimize patients’ recovery times.

Education
The division offers a three-year fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, which provides a balanced experience in hysteroscopy, vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures. It is the only three-year program where the first year is dedicated solely to research.
