Community
The Community Women’s Health Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center seeks to improve the lives of patients by building and sustaining community-academic partnerships. Grounded in a health justice approach, these partnerships advance training, service, and research to reduce health disparities that affect members of our community. Through our work, we strive to develop models of collaboration that specifically improve the lives of the people we serve, as well as other community-academic settings across the country.
