In Prenatal Testing, Genomics Sometimes Sees What Other Tests Can’t

Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Ron Wapner, MD, is the lead investigator on a study examining whether a new kind of prenatal genetic testing can improve obstetricians' ability to diagnose the underlying causes of fetal anomalies found during prenatal ultrasounds. The study was published in The Lancet.
