Alyssa Tracy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing individual and couples therapy, third-party reproduction counseling and psychological evaluations, and support groups at Women’s Mental Health Clinic at Ob/Gyn at Columbia University Medical Center.

With over a decade of experience specializing in trauma and women’s mental health, Alyssa delivers mental health care with both warmth and expertise. Alyssa provides an integrative approach to psychotherapy, utilizing somatic, psychodynamic, relational, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming practices, for highly attuned, personalized, and holistic care. Alyssa attained her Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University, as well as multiple professional credentials, including Perinatal Mental Health Specialist from Postpartum Support International and Reproductive Mental Health Practitioner from American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Alyssa is a PREPP: Practical Resources for Effective Postpartum Parenting trained clinician; a rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapy provider with University of California San Francisco Child Trauma Research Program; and a New York State Department of Health Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Counselor. Alyssa is currently completing an international multi-year professional program for Somatic Experiencing, providing patients a body-oriented therapy for healing from trauma and other stress disorders.
