Ashley Armstrong, MD

Dr. Ashley Armstrong is an obstetrician-gynecologist who is passionate about women’s health. Born in New York City and raised in Long Island she developed a passion for both the arts and sciences from an early age. She is a graduate of the Juilliard Pre-College Division, where she studied both violin and piano, and performed both at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall.

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Dr. Armstrong was the runner-up to Miss Missouri in the Miss America Organization, where she advocated for sex education and women’s health. Her experiences in the performing arts and public service helped cultivate the communication skills, resilience, and empathy that have become hallmarks of her clinical practice.

Dr. Armstrong earned her Master of Public Health before pursuing her medical degree and completing residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai affiliated BronxCare. She served as administrative chief during her final year.

Outside of medicine, she continues to maintain a strong appreciation for the arts and lifelong learning, drawing upon her diverse experiences to connect with patients from all backgrounds. She considers it a privilege to care for women through some of the most meaningful and transformative moments of their lives. She is passionate about prenatal care, family planning, mental health, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and care for elderly patients.
