As co-chair of ACOG District II's Safe Motherhood Initiative, Dr. D'Alton played a pivotal role in the effort to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity in New York state and across the country.
Dr. D’Alton has authored or contributed to more than 300 peer-reviewed scientific and clinical publications, including the book Fetology: Diagnosis and Management of the Fetal Patient, which received the Association of American Publishers Award for Best Textbook in Clinical Medicine in 2001 and remains a standard in the field. She is co-editor of “Seminars in Perinatology” and served on the editorial board of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ (ACOG) journal “Obstetrics and Gynecology.”
Dr. D’Alton’s leadership in advancing education, research, clinical practice, and policy in women's health has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Milstein Award, for which she was the second recipient.
