Fady Khoury-Collado, MD

Fady Khoury Collado, MD is the Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital.

He specializes in surgeries for gynecologic cancers, including cancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vulva and vagina, including minimally invasive surgery for early-stage cancers, and multidisciplinary surgery for advanced gynecologic cancers. He also sees patients with precancerous conditions of the lower genital tract, and non-cancerous gynecologic conditions requiring surgical management.

In addition, he has a special interest in the surgical management of obstetrical hemorrhage, including patients with placenta accreta spectrum (PAS). He has lectured in national meetings and written textbook chapters about this condition. His experience in managing this complex and life-threatening condition spans a period of 2 decades, during which he has performed more than 150 surgeries for PAS, pioneered new surgical approaches for this condition, and currently offers uterine preservation options in select patients.
